Solas Amita 5011-078-07 Aluminum Boat Propeller

It was what I ordered. I even ordered another one.

I receive the prop in excellent condition. Installation was easy and it worked as well as the prop that came on the motor

It fits well, it seems to be well made. I've only used it now for 10 minutes but it's a huge improvement over the old beat up, rock chipped 8" prop that was on the engine before. If the hub or finish doesn't hold up over time I'll update this review. Otherwise it'll be just fine.

Received 9-9-15 and installed. Tested 9-10-15 workes great. When I need another prop I will buy again. I purch this prop as the 7.8 X 8 that came with my Tohatsu 6 hp.outboard I felt was pitched to high. Motor labored at high end of RPM range. Boat is 14' X 32" bottom jon boat. Weight about 575 lbs. fully loaded with one fisherman. Motor has always pushed the boat well with the 8" pitch prop. Last 1/4 of throttle had no change in boat performance. Now I have full range of throttle. All other performance factors may have improved but only a small amount. Would I do it again? Yes. Boat and motor are better matched. Another comment reported the trolling speed did not decrease. I noted that it did for me. I troll for strippers. UPS held my prop an extra day in Dallas so it would arrive ontime. RETAILERS you need to insist that they keep your product moving to best serve your customers. Knowing my prop sat in Dallas an extra day for no other reason than they wanted me to get overnight shipping does not serve the retailers well

It has matched my installation rotor, so I'm satisfied. What else ?

Bought this to slow down my Nissan 5hp kicker for trolling. It did slow it down, just not as much as I wanted. Not the fault of the prop. It is extremely well made (better than original prop), fit perfectly, and did slow me down a little. Great price at iboats.

The prop was delivered on time and was the quality of a prop that I had hoped. I have not used it yet, so I cannot say for sure.

I replaced the factory boat propeller 7.8" x 8" with the 7.8 x 7" propeller. I've noticed a slight increase in speed on takeoff and a higher engine rpm at full throttle. I need to experiment more with the pitch position of Tohatsu 6hp 4 stroke engine I'm satisfied so far with the performance of new propeller.

Good quality , actually a bit heavier construction than the stock prop.

I followed your prop selector and ordered the propeller, but when I tried it on there was a 1/2" gap between the prop and the motor housing. When I set the two props side by side, the new prop's hub was set 1/2" forward in the center hub. Clearly incorrect!! I would like my money back for the prop and the $8.42 for the posatge. Please and thanks.

My honest mistake. My old prop says 14x17, I search and only prop I find is 14...x17. I immediately see it is too large. No service said to take photos. In the light the photo picks up glare. No service says I damaged the prop, no return. Finally supervisor says send it back. No service says it may take 30 to give an answer. 2 weeks later, no answer from no service. Many friendly boat companies to buy.

Service was good, received ordered product promptly. Haven’t put on boat due to weather.

Blades are small than original, but very nice product.

So this might be a duplicate. I have used prop on 3 duck hunting trips and it seems to be working fine.

Great price for a basic 3-blade Aluminum prop.Hard to find pitch was available, in stock, delivered quickly. Looks great but waiting for warmer weather to install.

My old prop spun on my johnson Seahorse 70, this one works great.

It fit on my motor like a glove. Ran as designed.

I like the Solas Amita prop. It works well and is easy to install. Performs well on my boat. Arrived in about 4 days. Transaction was easy and flawless. IBoats web site is easy way to find prop that fits boat motor.

I have owned and used several solas props. have two Solas Amita props that I use on 150 hp evinrude V6. 17 and 19 pitch by 15.5 diameter. Both props work well and fit great depending on the boat load and what I am doing I will use one or the other. Shipping was very fast. I have bought several items from iboats and have always been satisfied.

Propeller is as expected. My only disappointment was that I had to reuse the cotter pin. Would have nice If a new one was provided as well as the other parts such as spacer, nut etc.

I bought this prop to replace 23 pitch three blade aluminum on a 22 foot Bayliner with 5.7L inboard. It made a huge difference in acceleration and I actually picked up about 8mph of top speed, which I was expecting to lose 2-3mph.

I learned the hard way about buying a prop online from iBOATS....their policy once the prop touches the water no return, no allowance, no swap is available. The prop did not perform even close to expectation, but I had no way of knowing that with out trying it. Let the buyer beware.

The website said it would fit my motor but when I went to install it, it was to short.
