Bought this prop to replace worn/damaged stock prop on my 1995 18' Reinell with 3.0 LX Merc. Took about 15 minutes plus 15 more to file 1/4" off the trim tab. Everything included to do the job. Better take off out of the hole now for skiers and less vibration.

The prop performed great. Puts my boat at speed very quickly. Would recommend this to anyone seeking an inexpensive way to replace their prop. Took me less than 5 minutes to install. Will for sure buy another as a spare in the near future.

It's a piece of aluminum shaped like a prop. What else can I say about it? It fit's where it's supposed to and turns yhe way it's designed. It works.

maybe 10 bucks more than people try and sell used ones for around here, well worth the cost. Will be buying again and will try some of the others as well in the future. Shipping was fast.

Your service is outstanding! Prop arrived in very well packaged box in very short time. I put on boat and within 2 trips out hit something and took chunks out of 2 blades. Haven't hit anything in 2 seasons but as soon as I put that shiny new prop on, whack! There must be some kind of non ferrous metallic attraction to sunken objects in that prop. LOL! Oh well, just picked up from prop repair shop for $80 (OUCH).

The prop was a great price although I did have to shave a little of the anode to make the prop be able to turn.

I replaced a Mercruiser 14" dia, 19 pitch propeller with this Solas 14.5" dia, 19" prop. The Merc had been banged up by the previous owner. The props are the same pitch, but the Solas was 1/2" bigger. I got slightly different results than I expected. I expected slightly lower wide open throttle rpm's, slightly higher top speed, similar hole shot. I got slightly higher rpm's wot (100 rpm), slightly lower top speed (1-2 mph), but crazy hole shot power. This went behind a 4.3 L Mercruiser in a 19' Blue Water. The prop looks great, feels great, similar in quality to the Mercruiser. I can't believe the hole shot power, I wanted to drop wide open throttle rpm's, and am a little disappointed that wasn't the case. But I will trade it for the hole shot, the old prop used to be embarr ly slow getting on a plane, bow high, struggling. Now it's like a gut shot cat, skiers better hold on.

great product/price and service

The Solas Amita blade looks good (haven't had it in the water yet), but it is about 1/2 inch deeper than the 3 blade, 14.5" X 19 pitch blade took off. I will therefore need to remove about 1/2 inch of the anode so the blade doesn't hit it.

Excellent prop. Was going to use as a back up bit left it on.

The prop looks good for strength, shape, form and finish. The one problem I found is that the blades are close to the adjustable rudder that is aft from the prop. In fact one blade would hit this rudder. The clearance on the OEM prop is greater by 1/8" to 1/4". I seated the prop than filed the prop blade's edge that interfered slightly enough to give clearance. It didn't take much. Next will be the water test for performance evaluation.

I've been very happy with my Solas Amita props. I recently damaged my first through my own error, and bought this one for a spare, which went on quick and painlessly. It works as good as the first one! A bonus is that it comes with a new nut retainer (spacer washer - $17 if bought separately).

Purchased for my 05 Tahoe 19' Q4 fish/ski. Moving to this pitch, from the factory 21 pitch brought my rpm's right at 4800 which is max rpm range for my 3.0 L Mercruiser. It helped some with bow wander at no wake speeds, better hole shot, 2 less on top end.. Overall the prop runs smooth, and does a great job. Next time I will try the 4 blade for water sports.

What a difference this prop made to my boat. Up on plane way quicker, more responsive, wonderful! Now if only my 20 year old hadn't decided to test its resilience with rocks (after only about 3 hours wet) then I wouldn't have to be buying another. My dismay is that the second one is $12 more!

I was looking for a prop that was affordable, the local marinas wanted double what I paid here. Install was easy and the prop performed great, it plains out quicker and has gained approx 5 to 7 mph from the old prop. I will buy another when the time comes.

Wasn't aware that their may be an issue with clearance on the trim tab until I received the prop. Due to flooding have not been able to test the prop in water but the clearance is very minimal with the standard tab.

Am very satisfied. It's a shame that high shipping cost to Canada consumes almost all the savings but I guess that's why these things are more expensive up here in the first place.

The prop was the best price I could find and included hub and lock washer. I installed it in less than 2 minutes flat to my SE106 outdrive. A super prop for the money. Boat runs smooth as glass. Perfect replacement for my Mercury 08231 15 spline 14.5 x 19 pitch prop

Just purchased the prop this summer. Have taken it out on the lake twice. Was experiencing some pull to one side with the old stainless prop. No pull with this one. Running it on a 17' Larson with a 3.0L Mercruiser. For the price, can't beat the performance.

My honest mistake. My old prop says 14x17, I search and only prop I find is 14...x17. I immediately see it is too large. No service said to take photos. In the light the photo picks up glare. No service says I damaged the prop, no return. Finally supervisor says send it back. No service says it may take 30 to give an answer. 2 weeks later, no answer from no service. Many friendly boat companies to buy.

I have owned and used several solas props. have two Solas Amita props that I use on 150 hp evinrude V6. 17 and 19 pitch by 15.5 diameter. Both props work well and fit great depending on the boat load and what I am doing I will use one or the other. Shipping was very fast. I have bought several items from iboats and have always been satisfied.

Propeller is as expected. My only disappointment was that I had to reuse the cotter pin. Would have nice If a new one was provided as well as the other parts such as spacer, nut etc.

I bought this prop to replace 23 pitch three blade aluminum on a 22 foot Bayliner with 5.7L inboard. It made a huge difference in acceleration and I actually picked up about 8mph of top speed, which I was expecting to lose 2-3mph.

I learned the hard way about buying a prop online from iBOATS....their policy once the prop touches the water no return, no allowance, no swap is available. The prop did not perform even close to expectation, but I had no way of knowing that with out trying it. Let the buyer beware.

The website said it would fit my motor but when I went to install it, it was to short.
