Bay Pro III + Guardian Hub Stainless Steel Boat Propellers
- The BAY PRO III 4 blade series propellers are specifically designed for offshore fishing boats and offer great acceleration and improved midrange performance in rough water and adverse conditions.
- The BAY PRO III series is available for 115 horsepower and greater engine with 4.75" diameter gear cases.
- BAY PRO III utilizes the Stiletto Guardian Hub system.
SUPERIOR BLADE DESIGN - Stiletto Propellers are truly the stainless edge. All Stiletto Propellers are of a progressive pitch design. Cupped blades help reduce the chance of cavitation, therefore, increasing the efficiency and performance of your engine.
TOTAL PERFORMANCE - Stiletto Propellers are designed to help each boat and engine combination achieve its peak performance at all throttle levels: low end, mid-range, and top end. Stiletto Propellers are designed to outperform the mass produced aluminum and stainless steel stock/utility propellers. The outer hub is vented to allow some of the exhaust gases to escape preceding each blade. This helps eliminate performance-robbing vacuums that occur behind the blades. Stiletto props are made in the USA.
RELIABILITY - Stiletto Propellers are one-piece investment cast for exceptional strength and safety. This manufacturing process provides superior consistency in blade shape and accuracy in pitch. Some so-called performance propellers are produced using welded-on blades, which are not as structurally sound nor are they as reliable as a one-piece casting.
- Scores shown are based on all Stiletto Bay Pro III with Guardian Hub propeller reviews.

With your additional parts I ordered, the prop was easy to install. The only thing I didn't have was a small tube of grease. You should give thought to including it with future purchases. Will definitely purchase from iboats.com again. Thank you, blessings.

Very nice prop. Awesome holeshot. Instant, and I mean instant, plane. Holds the water very well. Just keep in mind , this is a very aggressive prop, that will lower your rpm's Considerably (compared to a 3 blade aluminum ), so judge accordingly .

I purchased this product to replace my stainless 3-blade propeller following the iBoats online propeller selection recommendation for my motor. To make a longer story short, I'm very dissatisfied with the performance I'm getting using it and when I called customer support I was told I was stuck with it because it had been installed and used JUST ONE TIME. An escalation to management has so far been unfruitful. Here are the important details: ------------------------------- 1. I had been turning 5400 max WOT RPMs with my 14.25" 22 pitch 3-blade (vs. mfg spec of 5500), and decided to buy the 14.25" 21 pitch 4 blade using the following guide from iBoats' website: "When switching from 3 to 4-blades, generally a 1" pitch decrease is required. So, a 21" pitch 3-blade prop is replaced with a 20" pitch 4-blade prop. Pitch is increased when switching from 4 to 3-blades." 2. I installed the Stiletto Bay Pro III and did a test run and found that my hole shot was significantly slower and that I could only get max 4700 RPMs WOT. As you might expect my top end speed also dropped. 3. I immediately removed the Stiletto after using it for a total of 10 minutes and put it back in its box. 4. I called iBoats and explained the situation, telling the rep I would be happy with an exchange for a better performing product rather than a refund. Despite the poor performance and the fact that I'm unhappy with the product, the rep re-inforced their stated policy of not accepting propeller returns once they've been used. She told me that the above-quoted text recommending a 1" drop in pitch is "only a guide" and that because they can't resell the product they can't accept a return. I've been happy with past purchases from iBoats and customer support's treatment of me in the past. In this case I can only give this product a poor rating and hope that iBoats management decides to do something to help.

I purchased the 4 blade prop to replace a Mirage 3 blade prop on a Bravo 1 outdrive. The hub is installed into the prop by lightly tapping the hub into the prop body. The hub didn't appear to align properly to the prop, too loose of a fit. I installed the prop on the outdrive hoping for the best and took the boat out to the lake to test. The boat idled fine with the prop but would not plane out. If I slowly throtled the boat, one out of three times the boat would plane. I had to replce the prop with the original Mirage to eliminate the issue. Once the Stiletto was removed, you could see the rub marks on the OD of the prop where it extends into the aluminum housing. I would not recomend this prop to anyone. I have owned boats for 20 years, first time I have seen this issue.
