About Stiletto Boat Propellers

Advantage II Stainless Steel Boat Propellers

  • Excellent hole shot, strong mid-range acceleration, and top speed describe the Stiletto ADVANTAGE Stainless Steel Boat Propeller Series of propellers. This series gives you the advantage when skiing, carrying loads and in adverse water conditions. This is the choice for all around performance; it's your ADVANTAGE. Stiletto props are made in the USA.
  • The ADVANTAGE II series is designed for the 150 horsepower and greater and most sterndrive applications.

SUPERIOR BLADE DESIGN - Stiletto Propellers are truly the stainless edge. All Stiletto Propellers are of a progressive pitch design. Cupped blades help reduce the chance of cavitation, therefore, increasing the efficiency and performance of your engine.

TOTAL PERFORMANCE - Stiletto Propellers are designed to help each boat and engine combination achieve its peak performance at all throttle levels: low end, mid-range, and top end. Stiletto Propellers are designed to outperform the mass produced aluminum and stainless steel stock/utility propellers. Stiletto props are made in the USA.

RELIABILITY - Stiletto Propellers are one-piece investment cast for exceptional strength and safety. This manufacturing process provides superior consistency in blade shape and accuracy in pitch. Some so-called performance propellers are produced using welded-on blades, which are not as structurally sound nor are they as reliable as a one-piece casting.

I abuse this wheel, I have destroyed 2-3 a year, on three boats and five motors, for a long few years now. A solid hub required for me as it lives in shells, rocks, sand, and mud. Flukes give just enough on hard hits, so as not tear up the lower unit as a thicker, harder, more expensive wheel would. they have consistently outlasted other equivalent brands. and cheap enough to throw away and replace when done. When I'm done with them, trust me, they aren't worth repairing.

the propeler that I order it wasent the right fit for the type of engine that I have(the propeller I recieve is for a hight performant engine)no for 4 cylinder engine. I have to replace the part for a different pitch size. the original is 14.25x 21p aluminium. they send me the same side but the bades are on diferent angle.

I ordered a propeller using your find prop page. 1. The prop I received was not the correct one. 2. The prop came with a red notice that I needed to replace the specific thrust bearing and trim tab. My outdrive doesn't have a trim tab, so I was confused. I also already had the correct thrust washer (I assumed you knew something I didn't) so I wasted money on that. And the new prop that I got from a local marina came with yet another thrust washer. So now I have 2 extra thrust washers. 3. I had to pay return shipping for your mistake. 4. You have a ridiculous return policy that takes 30 days!!!!! to inspect the wrong prop you sent me. 5. It's been 30 days and I have not heard back from you. Let's recap: you sent me the wrong prop, wated my money on stuff I didn't need, wasted my time because after ordering and receiving the prop I had to go to a dealer and pay more for less prop, you want 30 days to inspect a return and you don't even do that. rating of 1 is too high, but there is no 0.

Like the first review, a little red piece of paper came in the box stating that you need extra parts which are not mentioned anywhere in the description of the prop. Also they don't tell you that this is a solid hub prop, not something I want on my boat! Currently in the process of attempting to have it sent back, although it might be quite the process as it was shipped to Canada, and they state "What is your return policy for international orders? Before placing your order, please take a moment to verify your product selection. iboats.com does not accept return merchandise on orders shipped outside the United States.*" Although it was a misrepresentation, so there I'm hoping not to have too much difficulty...

Very dis-satisified to find a note in the box stating Prop could not be used without a new trim tab and also needed a thrust washer (another $40 investment). Have not tried it yet, because I am now waiting for the required parts to aarrive. Why don't they mention this when you order??? Also found the same prop for $60 less on a competative site... Shop before you purchase.
