After lots of research I ordered this stainless prop. for my boat. It caused lots of knocking at idle on my 30hp 4 stroke tohatsu/nissan. Tried to do a return on the telephone only to be told it is considered used even though it was only on engine less than 2 minutes in fresh water. Also told that I purchased the wrong prop even though the listing shows it is for my engine. Also searched other stores and i had the correct prop. It fits fine it just has issues with the engine at idle. Was told by phone rep. That it is not there product they are selling so they don't have to stand behind it?? I understand covid is causing issues with having to work from home but be professional! I could not hear the rep. 90 percent of the time due to screaming, crying child in the phone. Iv used iboats in the past and have been very satisfied but never again!

I dropped down from an aluminum 9in pitch to a stainless 8, my wot rpm is better, gained 200 rpm ,hole shot and acceleration are a lot better and didn’t lose any top speed.

The reason I bought the prop here was their search engine that found the right prop for my motor the first time around. Hard to go wrong with a good SS prop with the right pitch.

Paid for next day air and didn’t receive it. Called and asked about it and was more less blowed off.

Running a heavy J14 DLX with 2018 Mercury 20. Looking to get up a little better and this helped. Top end came down slightly but that wasn't as important to me so I am happy.

Bought this prop a few weeks ago to replace my OEM prob with a stainless. I was a bit hesitant at first as I just did a bit a research and the purchased this without any professional input. I decided to drop the pitch 1 as my RPMS was well below my motors safe running specs. Once I placed this on my boat I not only noticed the RPMS are now on the higher end of motors specs but still within, but my hole shot and top speed have increased. I would absolutely recommend this prob to anyone who is looking to help out their motor.

I am new to the boating world and recently purchased a used boat that the prop had minor damage. when I initially took the boat out I had a lot of vibration and it also seemed as if the boat wasn't going as fast as it should. I replaced the aluminum damaged prop with this prop and also installed a hydrofoil....the boat it considerably faster and has little vibration if any.... V14 Tracker with a 15hp Suzuki 4 stroke. (had fishing gear plus two adults and two children in the boat)

The prop hub was slipping the first time I used it. Your company has no warrantee once you use the product which in this case would be impossible to tell there was a problem till you use it. There are lots of other places to buy boat parts and I own 4 boats, guess where I won't be buying any more parts!

I tried out the propeller and it makes clicking noise and performs terribly. iBoats won't exchange it or refund it so the new prop sits in the garage and I put my old one back on. I am just out my money and completely dissatisfied. I just wanted to go from an aluminum prop to a stainless prop because I operate in sal er. I never could get anyone to confirm that the prop I ordered was in fact the right one for my motor. I was told the clicking noise was due to the pitch I selected. It was only 1 inch different than my original prop. Anyway, I have a nice new shiny paperweight.

Bought this prop to replace the 4 blade prop that came on my 30 HP Merc. Used it for the first time this weekend in high water on the river and it performed very well. Performance wise, I did not see a difference one way or another, but it is difficult to tell in a high water situation. Very happy with it so far though. Build quality seems to be very good, and it installed easily.

This prop raised my top speed by about 4 mph (from 25 to 29) on my alumacraft 1436 switching from my factory aluminum prop on a merc 15 2-stroke with another person in the boat. I can get on plain just as well on shallow flats as before and have yet to leave a mark on it after using it like a mud motor and hauling through hydrilla beds full of stumps at full speed.

Looks freakin awesome but its probably 2x the weight of an aluminum prop. I haven't had the time to actually weigh the two but holding both in my hands, there is an obvious difference. I have a 10 and a 12 aluminum prop and the 11 stainless. Because of the difference in weight with the stainless 11 there is almost no difference in rpms than the aluminum 12. I am going to have to buy an aluminum 11 now just so I can get the rpms that I want. I've purchased both the 11 and 12 props from iboats and quality has been nothing but exceptional.

I have had 2 of these props and am waiting for another replacement. The first prop worked well until I hit a log at a relatively slow speed with it. It's a stainless prop so it should be fine right? Not exactly. The prop was completely bent out of shape and hardly worked at all after that. I used it for the rest of the season until the hub spun and left me stranded. I figured I would try a new one since they were on sale and it worked well when it actually worked. After waiting an awful long time (10 days) to receive the prop I put it on my boat and enjoyed about an hour of fun fast boating until rubber inside the hub broke apart for a second time I was left stranded with a spun hub. When this prop was working properly it was great. Fantastic thrust, higher top end speed, increased efficiency and amazing handling were all things that I enjoyed about this prop before the hub spun. I have returned my latest one and am awaiting a 3rd prop but don't have particularly high hopes for it. This could be a great deal and awesome prop if it was better constructed or had better quality control.

Love the prop! My 2012 Mercury 25hp 4 stroke was turning too many RPMs with the stock 8" pitch aluminum prop so I increased the pitch to 10" and it now runs like a champ without over-revving. It also seems to come out of the hole much better. And the price was fantastic. Delivered as promised. Couldn't be happier.

I have tried several props for the Suzuki DF-20A EFI in different sizes and pitches, this is the best all round prop IMO.

This was too much prop for Suzuki 20 hp DF20AS on a 12 RIB. Not the fault of the prop, this just for others to help size. Workmanship is good.

I am thrilled with this prop. It is finely finished and highly polished. Great workmanship. This prop is on a Tohatsu 25 4 stroke mounted on a 15' War Eagle that is fairly heavily loaded. The boat now gets on plane a bit faster than the OEM aluminum prop that was on the motor. The motor seems to run quieter and smoother than before. I would like to add that the Iboats phone purchase was superb...very courteous and knowledgeable. The guy nailed it on the head for what I needed. Thanks

My setup is an inflatable HPV 420 13.8 foot, with a 4 stroke Tohatsu 20HP. I have a couple of hours left for the 10 hr. break in period. I love the motor, but there was some vibration. I replaced the OEM prop with the SS Solas Saturn. I have to tell you immediately I could tell that the Solas is so much smoother. I also notice that the prop put me closer to the RPM range that I should be in to be more efficient. Also, this prop is also faster, but unfortunately I forgot to take my cell phone aboard to check the actual speed. I got my prop and with in 30 minutes I had the boat out on the water. It's nice when the ramp is just down the road. I honestly wish I would have had this prop on at the beginning of my break in period. iboats.com got the prop to me asap, and at the best price I could find. I will definitely buy from iboats.com again!

I was very happy with my new prop. I made the switch from the aluminum prop and now my boat comes out of the hole and jumps up on pad in half the time and gained a little on my top end.

Surprised that there was faster delivery than expected. Prop on 20hp Mercury 4-Stroke fit perfectly and has resulted in a cruising speed of 20 mph at 3/4 throttle and over 25 mph at full throttle on my Tracker Grizzly 1448. I am thoroughly satisfied with the prop and impressed with the buying experience. I guess that's why this is a repeat purchase from iboats.com.

I have a 10 pitch Solas S.S on my johnson 9.9 it gets 39 km/h. this 11 pitch Solas S.S on a 1994 Evinrude 15 gets 47 km/h. both taken on a 14 foot ultracraft 1436 Johnboat. used GPS built into android phone with Speedometer app to acquire the speed readings. due to the lightness of the boat both motors have torque to spare. I dont't feel that the hole shot has suffered. definitely get from point A to B quickly.

good evening gentlemen, my review of unsatisfactory is not due to the product but the policy of return. the product is of good quality and arrived in good condition. thanks for that care. i was told prior to purchase of the policy of no return on props, and i decided to purchase anyhow, you guys have a good reputation. my problem is that there must be a discrepancy reference the application for this prop. my specs were entered correctly 1998 15 hp merc 2 stroke. i am now the unhappy owner of a prop that has caused a loss of holeshot speed and loss of wide open throttle performance. the old wore out aluminum works better than this stainless. should i use it as an anchor or can we come to some resolution? i think the diameter and pitch should be less. thanks, propless in miami

Top end speed is the same although hole shot is better. It has some vibration to the motor unlike the alum. prop overall a good prop. I would buy a solas again if needed.

I recently purchased the Solas stainless prop for my Nissan Marine 20hp outboard. I use it alot in the inlets of North/South Carolina to track down the redfish, flounder, and specked trout. The prop fit nicely with no issues, powered my boat over Labor Day weekend nice and smoothly. I would recommend this product to others. The price was also nice, compared with some other props I was considering when I saw this one on the iboats site.

I put this on a 14 ft Aluminum flat bottom with a 2010 Mercury 25 hp motor... This prop has made a world of difference in my boats performance, the boat gets out of the water much faster now and actually seems to have a bit more top end as well.

I got this prop for a 1448 SC with a 25 HP 4 stroke replaced the stock 9.75 x 9.5 alum, I went up in pitch and size to a 10 x 11 vibration at idle up to about 1200 RPM is very notable unlike the stock prop. I did get a little better hole shot and maybe a speed increases of about 3 mph, but overall not much better that a stock prop if I were to buy a new prop for this boat I would just a 10 x 11 Alum could have got three new Alum’s for the price of this one.

I have a 25 HP - 4 stroke Honda engine on a 16 foot Jon boat. The top speed has increased by at least 5 MPH and I haven't noticed any change in engine rpm. The boat moves much faster even when heavily loaded. I highly recommend this propeller.

When ordering this prop, I increased the pitch by one (12 to 13) from standard prop that came with the motor. I am extreamly pleased with the quality and it add 6 mph (29 to 35mph) at full throttle equal load, and reduced RPM by 500 at full thorttle on my 16' alum bass boat.

This is a great prop for my Jon boat! I fish very shallow bays and marshes with lots of oyster shell reefs. The original aluminum prop didn't last long. This prop is extremely durable. The only reason for my second purchase is that I burned out the rubber hub bushing on my first SS prop on a concrete ramp that caught and held the prop while I was trailering the boat. Once the hub bushing starts slipping, you get no "traction" with the prop and you're dead in the water. I realized I needed a "spare" in case that happened on a reef away from land. Marine repair supply (and sales) shop told me I was underpowered with 20 HP Yamaha 4 stroke on 13 ' Caralina Skiff that would not get on plane with two aboard with aluminum 3 blade 8 pitch prop. Tried to sell me motor, boat....blah blah blah The Solas 7 pitch 3 blade stainless installed got me fixed up gained enough RPM's under load to plane and lost (as expected) a couple MPH top end which is no issue. Wasn't looking to make aspeedboat, but it was (AND IS) My boat. Great clarity for research from both Solas and iboats. Thanks much both!

The prop gave an old motor new life and as long as I stay out of the rocks the prop will outlast my 1976 motor. And me. (needs a lower end but works for now, seals leak so oil changes a must each time out)

I think I bought my prop the wrong size. The boat ran much better with the old prop that was on it. I talked to iboats about what size would be the right size. I guess we should have went with the 9 pitch.

Awesome propeller, good quality just like the last solas proppeller I ordered. Be advised though, Solas has changed the design of the Saturn. Thinner blades, lighter weight, less exhaust flange make this prop even faster than before so if you are already on the upper end of your rpm range as I was you may want to consider moving up 1" pitch because this prop is very fast. Very good prop just too fast for my boat/motor setup. I had a 10 picth with the last one but now im needing an 11.

10" X 8" pitch solas sst prop has worked out great! I have purchased a mercury vengence prop prior to this this solas. The solas was 1/3 the cost of the mercury prop. The quality and cosmetics are very good on the solas prop. I highly recommend the solas line of propellers.

Love this stainless steel prop - can't find them this small in my area. Also this is an exceptional value for the price. I highly recommend.

I may need to swap it out for another one. It is vibrating my motor in idle speed. I thought it was my shaft so I got my shaft straighten but it is still happening. It has a small wabling and now I do believe it is the prop. I will be contacting customer service about the issue. Things like this happen and I do believe they make a good product.

This prop installed easily, perfect fit. One of the blades had a very sharp edge-ouch! The rear hub flange had a very slight out of round. It is still a beautiful thing. Get one if you don't have one. Bob

I was happy when I foud that someone made a stainless prop for a Mercury 20 HP 4 cycle outboard. The quality and finish seem excellent. The Merc is pushing a Lund WC14 aluminum boat. My orignal aluminum prop was a little worn, but still in very good shape. According to my handheld GPS unit with my wife and I and our usual gear we had a top speed of 23 MPH on smooth water with the orignal prop.Switching to the Solas stainless our top speed with the same load on the same water went to 25 MPH. No spray, no cavitation, very smooth. Worth the price.

we run a 15' Alumacraft with a 20HP Mercury 4 stroke outboard. The Solas Saturn 9.25x11"ss is just a little too much pich for ower boat that is deck out and a little heavy. This prop is a little slow on plane and not real responsive but over all a great product and has a top speed of 26 MPH.The factory pich is 10" for the 20hp mercury 4 stroke so we had bought a Solas Saturn ss 9.25x10" that works very well for this rig with a top speed of 25 MPH.

If you still have a stock aluminium prop ditch that thing, It gets you on plane faster, no prop vibration, saves on fuel, and get better top speed. You can go other places and spend $262.00 on a stainless steel prop and pay for the brand name or you can spend $118.00 on a Solas Saturn and get one hell of a prop you wont be disappointed with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
